Ville has been ISO certified since 1991
Halk had been working in the same way and according to the same procedures for many years, but was, until not so long ago, not ISO certified. Since an increasing number of customers were asking about ISO certification, we decided, in the spring of 2009, to apply for ISO certification for Halk bv. In November 2009, Halk bv was audited by Lloyds Register Nederland. This audit showed that Halk also meets the requirements of this highly valued certificate. We are, therefore, very pleased to announce that, since 11th November 2009, Halk has been: ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Halk bv has already produced various bulk bag filling installations, which are in operation in the Netherlands and throughout the world. In 2009, Halk accepted the assignment of producing two mobile bagging installations for bulk bags intended for Tunisia. After implementing a number of new technologies and making a number of alterations, the capacity of these installations has been increased to approximately 80 bags/hour for free-flowing products, such as artificial fertilizer and/or grain (under the correct conditions).
Each of these installations has two independently operating bulk bag filling stations with removal conveyors, for which there is storage space in the transport container. The installation's electronic control panel, complete with weighing electronics, is located in a separate space in the container and is protected against contamination. The containers also each have a 27 kVA generator set, a compressor with an air reservoir and a pneumatic valve block for the electricity and compressed air supply for the installation. Thanks to these additions, the installations can be used immediately, in any location and under any conditions, without any external help.
Both mobile installations were delivered at the end of 2009 and are working to the full satisfaction of the customer. This assignment got a follow-up at the start of 2010. Halk bv also delivered a mobile bulk bag installation to Australia.
